Synopsis
John Randolph Bessenger is dead.
You and seven other guests have been gathered to fulfill his last wish— and as possible beneficiaries of Bessenger’s vast ice cream condiments fortune, you are eager to attend. As the evening unfurls, led by Bessenger’s former personal assistant Virgil, it becomes clear the old man left behind far more than just money and chopped nuts— puzzles, revelations, and a choice that will change one man’s life forever.
THE VERGE is an interactive theatrical experience that will not just have you on the edge of your seat, but out of it.
The choices are yours and yours alone— the results are not. Will you be satisfied?
Called “innovative”, “unique” and “quirky”, this experience received such positive word-of-mouth, the production was forced to add more shows just to meet demand.

Reviews
- “Sometimes when writing about a particular production we describe it as different or innovative. Well, all those times were just reviewers crying wolf. Dante Piro’s interactive play, The Verge, is truly different.” “Leaving The Verge feels a lot like leaving on the last day of summer camp – the “guests” were just starting to bond, and suddenly it’s time to go back to the real world.” -Julinda D. Lewis, RVArt Review
- “Dante Piro is not only a singular talent with immense abilities and a unique perspective on characters, this play (which he also wrote) proves his wonderful way with words. It’s a unique treat to be so close and enjoy his delightfully quirky mannerisms and total commitment to the character.” -Jerry Williams, Sifter
